Health safety at work

People can suffer injury or a sudden illness at work at anytime. A business has a legal responsibility to provide proven resource to deal with emergency and health related situations. What is importanct is that injured parties can receive immediate care at work prior to any emergency services arriving and help sustain life. This four day certified event will ensure that a business is equipped with resource to help out in a emergency situation.

Objectives:

• To be able to describe the priorities of First Aid
• To be confident to deal with any at work emergency situation
• To be able to communicate effectively in an emergency

Who should attend: Any staff member wishing to understand and be responsible for administrating First Aid at work

Content:

• Resuscitation
• Dealing with unconsciousness, blood loss, shock, fractures
• How to handle heart attacks, burns & scalds, eye injuries
• Coping with fractures and poisoning
• Record keeping
• Using first aid support equipment
• Communicating effectively in an emergency

Duration: X4 Days (certified for 3 years upon completion of assessment)
Rate: £695 per delegate (4 – 12 delegates per workshop) situation
